Beware the Weeping Angels. O_O

So here's a little Elliott household exploit to keep you on your toes while I'm gone... ;)

Thursday a few weeks ago was like any other day. I got up at 7- okay, maybe 7:19 - Mom was still in bed, and I went into the bathroom to take out my retainers. My Meema's old ceramic angel was on the counter. It was a weird place for it, but I figured Mom had just sat it there while cleaning and forgot about it.

Then I looked up.

"DON'T BLINK", written on the mirror with lipstick.

For you non-Whovians *coughsuckerscough*, here's a quick explanation...

So essentially, the "weeping angels" are beings that can move only when nothing is looking at them. You don't want to know what happens when you're not. v_v

After staring at the angel the whole time I brushed my teeth, I wrote the rest of the little speech in reply.
[Forgot to put in the "blink and you're dead" part]
Next thing I know, a few hours later, Dad comes in my room asking where the angel is, and I look at the dresser. o_o

And then when I went to do school in the other room...
See those little ninjas on my laptop? I put them facing the angel so I didn't have to worry about it while doing my assignments. v_v

But of course I put it in a few choice places later. In the kitchen, Mom's closet....

But the worst was when I got back from youth group, and opened my own closet.
Cause I was really close to the door when I opened it, and bam, the angel was right. There.

I screamed.
Well as close to a scream as I could get, anyway*. It was more like really freaked-out exclamation. <_< >_>

The next day Mom asked me to get her hairdryer out for her.
Guess what was waiting for me in the cabinet. -_-
Me: Gah! Moooooommm!!
Mom *from other room*: *maniacally* Mwahahahahaha. >=D

Oh yeah, then it was inside my dresser later, too. I wasn't surprised this time.

But anyway, I do have to admit it was a good prank. Certainly kept me on my toes the whole time. xD
Our social worker happened to come out that day though, so I'm glad she didn't decide to use the bathroom. We would have had some 'splaining to do after she saw the mirror....

*[except for the time with the LotR movie night and I forgot about that part when Bilbo goes evil for a split second and tries to grab the ring from Frodo's chain and freaked me out...But perhaps that's another tale for another time. >_>]

lol have a good night, everyone. ;) You'll hear more from me in a few days, hopefully.

But until then, don't BLINK...
