Good ol' Sundays

I'm all curled up in the bay window, with all sorts of things to do and all the time to do it. I love Sunday afternoons.... I've got stories to read, things to write, and a play to memorize.
Bekkah and Elizabeth both gave me their just-written stories to look over. ^_^ I just got done with Bekkah's... I had to edit some of the speech in it though.... much too modern for a medieval tale. <_< I'll start on Lizzy's story in a bit. Plus I just got Song of the Ovulum from her this morning! =D Yay!

Well I guess my blog's out in the open now.... more than two of my friends know about it! xD But I guess that's what it's for, after all. It's actually kind of fun having more people know about it. Like it's an elite group or something. Only a select few do I grant access to my secret website. (Can you call it that? <.<)
But anyway, I feel very loved. Elizabeth went through and read I think like basically all my posts since last year and put a bunch of comments on them, including the more minor-key of the bunch, to put it in musical terms. =P But to those of you that read it, who prayed for me, who let me know you were there. Thank you. Really, thank you. I couldn't ask for better friends. You guys mean the world to me.

Elizabeth wrote a Christmas skit for our Sunday School class to perform for the Christmas thing the church has every year (I don't really know how to describe it beyond that), which she revealed this morning. It's basically about a few of the Angel soldiers that accompanied Mary and Joseph to the Inn and the stable. I wasn't able to get there early to practice it with everyone, so they went ahead and just assigned the parts. Elizabeth hadn't originally written it with any of us specifically assigned to any of the characters, but Hannah read through it and said "Alright, so we'll have Rachel play Angel #1 then?" They looked at the lines for a second, then decided "Yep, that sounds like Rachel alright. xD"
It was just kinda cool when she told me about it. Idk, I think it's just..... it's just kinda cool when people decide something sounds like you. Maybe it just surprises me when people talk or think about me when I'm gone. And I don't want anyone reading this to feel bad or feel like they need to do more to make me feel special or anything... It's just the way my brain thinks sometimes.

Now let's see..... I've got - nope, nevermind. I'm not going to talk about school. v_v

*Tries again* Let's see..... I went to the Nutcracker Friday night! ^_^ Don't tell anyone, but for three months of straight practice, the bell choir and a few of the performers messed up quite a few times. But it was probably just the performance jitters, I think. Annie said she was still shaking afterward. I can't blame them! =P I would have liked to have gone to the Saturday Matinee performance with Liz, Sarah, and William, but ah well, work has to come first...
But the best part of the play by far was seeing Tony Berget, our ex-mayor, play the role of "Mother Ginger".
You have not truly lived unless you've seen a large man with an eye-patch and beard dancing on a stage in a giant hoop skirt. <_<
This...

Plus this...
= Scary and traumatic.
Or hilarious and amusing...
Take your pick.

Well I guess that's it for now, if I'm going to get to the rest of all this reading! *Wields red story-editing pen* Nanowrimo story, beware!! >=D
