Aw, my beautiful state, how I love thee.
One thing I noticed: Montana is one of those states where conversations about the weather are not "small talk". If someone comes up to you and says they found out it will snow tomorrow you are supremely thankful and may have just forged a lifelong friendship.
I think people even get into weather forecasting wars. "Wunderground is better!" "No, I use the Forest Service tower thing and it's always accurate." "None of them are accurate!"
