First, the one that most of you already know (or at least feel like you do), Darian.

Anyway, she's kind of a riddle. A poem that's hard to read. She can be unpredictable. But that's what makes her special, I guess. She's fun to be around, and completely original. No she's not perfect, but hey, she's human. ;) It can't be helped.
I feel kind of responsible for her somehow; like I have to protect her. But that's only so easy when you live a 30-minute drive away from someone. I've already learned that I can't ever keep anything bad from happening to her - all I can do is be there for her when she needs me. Be her friend. And you know what, that might just be enough.
On to the next one. Or two, technically.
Liz and Hannah. But first we'll talk about the firstborn. Elizabeth! My buddy, the Genius, the Walking Dictionary... we call her all sorts of things. I do pretty much anything and everything with her. Well, except when it's something stupid or slightly dangerous with no purpose, then she's just like "V_V No." To most people who don't know her, she seems pretty quiet and reserved. But when you get to know her, she's hilarious. She loves to read a write, and we all get on her case when she gets involved in a book and can't hear us when we're trying to get her attention! @_@ She LOVES Doctor Who. And I've gotta say, because of her, Hannah and I do too. Every since the past month or two, our relationship has been flourishing. Maybe it's because I'm the only one who actually knows what she's talking about (and is actually interested) when she gets on a Doctor roll? There's never a time we meet that we don't talk about it anymore. xD But when I want to do something, I call Liz. She's like my other half.
Hannah, on the other hand, is the one that will do crazy stuff with me. And she's completely opposite of Lizzy. If she's the good first-born, Hannah's the rebellious second-born. Haha well not that bad, but she is the most teenager-ish of the family. But also, is completely responsible and has tremendous leadership skills. Go figure. She's crazy, creative, and can take on pretty much any challenge. That's what I like about her. Oh and she wants everyone to call her Sui (Soo-ee) now, for some reason.... It hasn't worked too well.

And coming home from Creationfest - without me this year. =( |
And it would appear that I can't find a good picture of their little sister Bekah at this point, so I guess I'll have to save her for next time.
This is Annie Wilkinson, the superhero-like Scottish Highland Dancer. For someone who dances in Pointe shoes all day, you'd think she'd be able to keep up with me on a bike...
our friendship kind of has an awkward beginning. I spotted her family at Nordicfest last year, and pointed them out to my mom as homeschoolers. (You can just tell sometimes...) So Mom, being the person that she is, goes up and talks to them. As it turns out, they live not quite a mile up the road from us.
Annie didn't like me at first. "Mom," She would say when asked about me, "we have nothing in common! @_@"
"Oh you just wait," Mrs. Wilkinson would reply, "you'll probably end up being best friends."
Funny, because now we pretty much are. See Annie would be content staying inside sewing and cooking all day, while I'm more inclined towards adventure. Our moms hoped we'd wear off on each other. So I drag her all over the place, exploring old shacks and catching frogs down at the claybanks. She's got me a little interested in sewing my own stuff. Oh and she's my only friend who knows what steampunk is. Not to say that I didn't have to tell her what it is, but she's pretty old-fashioned. Which I think makes her pretty wise for her years.
Here's the Wilkinson kids: Annie, Landon, Saryn, and Caleb. Not that all of them haven't become my second family (cause I do everything with them), but Landon especially has become my brother. He introduces me to his friends as "my honorary sister", in that way that he can't pronounce his R's... Dad and I think it's endearing, but don't tell Landon we said that...
He's such a cool, capable, amazing, ingenuitive kid though. I see him, and I see the little ways that he's grown since I've met him. With their dad gone for three weeks and home for the next, I see him trying to rise up and take charge. I see the boy, and the man he's turning into. *proud grin* And honestly, I really can't wait to see what he's going to be.
