A life mourned, a life loved.

Well after giving her water through a syringe the past two nights, Jazzi finally passes away while I was doing homework tonight. =/  We agreed that we were going to take her to the vet to be put down tomorrow if she didn't go by tonight. I'd prefer it this way anyway. She was gone effortlessly, with the people that loved her.
We got Jazzi when I was 6 years old, as a surprise... They told me we were going to babysit, but when we got there they made me close my eyes and dad came out with a puppy. ;D And we were a pretty darn cute pair, if I say so, with her big puppy eyes and my long hair and toothless smile... *will have to go back and find the picture on my parents' computer* *Doesn't have a current picture of her on my computer either*
So yeah, it's always tough to lose a pet... Jazz was a great dog. Stubborn, though. <_< But Sherman's sure going to miss his buddy. But I'm not really that sad about it... she had a good life, and I'd rather have her gone than struggling like she did the past week. A show I was watching today said "A life mourned is a life loved". Very true. ^_^ She was indeed well-loved. And as an old life is gone, we also have LaVinia's life to see, which is just beginning. It's such an interesting concept.... A life starting out, for the very first time.
Wow.
Life... is so sweet, so fragile. And yet so magnificent. It's a thing to see. ;D

Aw, Rachel, I'm so sorry! I didn't know you had a dog until now. May she rest in peace.
The baby is so cute!! <3 Ahh, life /is/ so fragile. Just like the Crazy Love book talked about.
I hope you're feeling okay from this?

lol ;)Yeah actually we have two dogs (well one now), two cats, a rabbit, and a fish. xD But yeah, I'm fine. I'm not even that sad about it really. She was getting old, and we would rather have had her go this way than to have to put her down. =/ She had a good life, and I'm glad God blessed us with it. ^_^
