Well then.

Let me just say.
That the calves of my legs.
Are very.
Very sore.
Because I've been running a few miles up the road the past few days.
With Landon! ^_^
For those that don't remember (or just didn't read the old post), Landon is the 12-year-old brother of Annie, my friend that lives up the road. I wanted someone to start running with me but Annie's even busier than I am these days, so Landon volunteered. So it works out great - I get a running buddy, and he has something to do while the rest of his family is at ballet practice. (He was in the Nutcracker last year, but he won't be in a their next production, a Midsummer Night's Dream, so he doesn't need to practice with them. V_V) ^_^
He's kind of - well not "kind of" - He has become like a brother to me. We pick on each other a lot, but we have a lot of the same interests and he's fun to be with most of the time. Plus our competitiveness (is that a word?) with each other helps bring a good challenge into the sport. ^_^
So yeah, it's pretty cool. Challenging. But also good to keep me accountable to keep running. I ran a mile in 7:25 once... I'd like to beat that record.... and not feel like I'm going to die when I finish. <_<

So in any case... needless to say, Rachel is resting today... Although I did lift some weights this morning. But my arms were still a little sore, so I couldn't do much. e_e *needs to remember to eat more protein so my muscles will actually grow* Curse my small build and lack of muscle...
*munches on grapes*
Oh, and I'm going skiing on Friday! And that is very hard on your calves too....If you've ever done any hard-core downhill skiing, you know you'll be sore the next day. <_< So yeah! I'll be very, VERY sore on Saturday. And I work for 5 hours that afternoon. o_o Fun fun....
Speaking of fun, work was great last night. We had a gentleman come in a give a presentation on weapons of the Civil War! ^_^ I didn't watch all of it though. And Sarah ( my superior) and I had some fun conversation... About Doctor Who, and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, and other generally geeky things... >X) Too bad she's leaving in a few weeks. =/ Seems like I get to know people right before they leave... Ah well.
Anna taught me how to make an origami crane last night, too. xD Man I love my job...
Well LaVinia just left of a visit with her parents, I'm already almost finished with this week of school by Wednesday so I'll be ahead by a day or two, and still take Friday off for skiing! And Mom's taking me to the bead store before math class today. ^_^
I think I might still have some other news going on... hopefully I'll get some time to write later.

Farewell!
